Barbara S. Frank, 76, of Quincy, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022 at the Laurels of Coldwater.
Funeral services for Barbara S. Frank will be held Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel, located at 111 E. Chicago Street, in Quincy with Pastor Jay Chambers officiating.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Interment will take place in Lakeview Cemetery in Quincy at a later date.
She was born on February 5, 1946 in Beloit, Wisconsin to Charles D. and Wilma N. (McGilvra) Adkins.
Barbara graduated from West Division High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1964 and went on to graduate from Delta College in 1988. She was employed at Dow Chemical in Midland, MI. until her retirement. Barbara was a member of the South Litchfield Baptist Church.
She cherished time with family and friends, and loved to bake cookies. Her grandchildren all referred to Barbara as, “Cookie Grandma”. Barbara enjoyed cake decorating, dancing, tending to her flowers, bird watching in her garden, and meeting new people. She led by example and shared love and compassion with everyone she met.
Barbara is survived by two sons, Gregory (Annette) Frank of Quincy, Glenn Frank (companion Gita Khatri) of Berkley, MI; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Karla (Dan) Morgan of Fond du Lac, WI; Shirley Eifrid, Amy Fee and Marie Hickerson, mothers to nine of her beautiful grandchildren.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Bruce Fowler and two sisters, Marlene Bellard and Lynn Rzenkowski.
Her family would like to thank the Care Team at The Laurels of Coldwater, and Southern Care Hospice Services of Jackson, MI. for the professional, loving care they provided for Barbara.
