QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Those who are here for Sunday’s NASCAR Pure Michigan 400 Sprint Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway can enjoy one of the big events of the summer in Branch County, too. Quincy Daze will take place Friday night and all day Saturday.
Town Manager Eric Zuzga says Quincy Daze grew out of the 150th anniversary of the founding of the town almost a decade ago.
The Bulldogs perform Friday night at 8:00 p.m.
Saturday’s schedule includes the return of the always popular cornhole tournament which Zuzga says draws contestants from as far away as Fort Wayne Grand Rapids and Detroit.
Other Saturday events include an arts and craft show, the Quincy Historical Society Car Show, the Habitat for Humanity Ice Cream Social and a Karaoke contest.
Music on Saturday will be provided by Dani Jamerson, Jim Dove and Those Three Guys.
