COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch Intermediate School District Superintendent Joe Lopez said during Wednesday’s board meeting that he was pleased with the news that the Community Health Center of Branch County’s School Tele-Health Program has been awarded a three year grant by the Health and Human Resources Administration.
The grant will allow for the program to expand in several areas which will include the use of social workers.
The program will get $300,000 a year for the next four years for the continuation and expansion of the program that was established in 2014.
Services available through the school tele-health clinics include first aid, preventative health, immunizations, acute care visits and sports physicals.
