COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Biz Aid Recycling at 90 Darling Drive in Coldwater will be holding a post-holiday community recycling event between December 28 and 31 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. each day.
There will be no charge to drop off recycling during those four days.
The State of Michigan awarded Biz Aid a grant this fall to help encourage recycling and increase the numbers of those who recycle.
None of Biz Aid’s accepted items are taken to landfills. Instead, most items collected are supplied to Michigan processors for reuse.
Biz Aid owner Samantha Buterbaugh says, “Many people may not be aware, but there has been a cardboard shortage because of extra ordering during the pandemic. We have been working on getting this grant from the State and are so excited to finally be able to implement it. We hope to see a lot of new people from the community and businesses dropping off their post-holiday recyclable items.”
Accepted items include clean and sorted cardboard, glass, paper, aluminum, plastic, and styrofoam. For more information on items that are accepted and not accepted, visit BizAidLLC.com

Thank you, Samantha!
