JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater traveled to the Arbor Hills Golf Course in Jackson to participate in the Western Invitational and came away with a 5th place finish out of the 19 teams that were there. Coldwater fired a team score of 405 which was 25 strokes better than their score at the same tournament last year. Mason won the event with a team total of 360.Coldwater was led by Jayla Goodwin whose round of 92 placed her in a tie for 10th place overall. Claire Sheppard shot a 96, Hunter Jenkot fired a 107, Molly Smith had a 110 and Gabriel Boston rounded out Coldwater’s scoring with a 116.
