COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Law Enforcement Motorcycle Run in memory of Branch County Sheriff’s Deputy Mike Winter will be held on Saturday, September 3rd.
The ride will start at 11:00am that morning across from the Hillsdale library and end at the Branch County Sheriff’s Department.
All donations will go to Winter’s family.
The event is being sponsored by the Iron Legacy Motorcycle Club.
Winter was a member of the Branch County Sheriff’s Department Posse.
He died from head injuries on May 31st, one day after he was thrown off of his horse while providing security during the Quincy Memorial Day Parade.
