BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Niles Brandywine Bobcats broke open a close game in the third quarter as they defeated the Bronson Vikings 66-51 on Monday night.
Bronson only trailed 31-30 at halftime. But Brandywine scored the first 13 points of the second half and took a 52-37 lead into the final quarter.
The Vikings were unable to recover as their record dropped to 1-1.
Aden Hathaway led Bronson with 13 points while Boston Bucklin added 11 points.
The Vikings open Big 8 Conference play this Thursday night at home against Concord.
