BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Battle Creek VA Medical Center is set to host a PACT Act Week of Action event to inform Southwest Michigan Veterans, their families, caregivers, and survivors about the PACT Act and encourage them to apply for toxic exposure-related health care and benefits.
Local VA staff and Veteran Service Officers will be present to help Veterans to apply for benefits, complete toxic exposure screenings, and enroll in VA health care.
The Week of Action event is part of VA’s broader efforts to ensure eligible Veteran and survivor gets PACT Act-related health care and benefits.
The event takes place on Thursday, December 15, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center, 5500 Armstrong Road in the Auditorium in Building 6.
Veterans should bring their DD214 with them to the event.
