COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Coldwater man who admitted his guilt to a pair of methamphetamine related charges was sentenced to 18 months probation on Monday in Branch County Circuit Court after his motorcycle was stopped for speeding by the Michigan State Police in Butler Township May 25, 2016.
44-year-old Kenneth Lee Byrd entered guilty pleas to possession of meth as well as to a count of operating and maintaining a lab involving meth.
Terms of the agreement call for the charges to be served concurrently.
All other charges along with an habitual offender enhancement were dismissed in exchange for the guilty pleas.
