BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – A Union City man was flown out by the Air Care helicopter after he was electrocuted on a farm in the western part of Branch County on Thursday afternoon.
The Branch County Sheriff’s Department says 34-year-old Jason Easterday was shocked by a 440 volt line while he was working on a water irrigation pivot.
A sheriff’s department spokesman says Easterday is lucky to be alive.
A spokesperson at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo says he is listed in fair condition.
The incident happened on West Colon Road east of Culver Road just after 3:00 p.m.
The Bronson Fire Department was also called to the scene.
