COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Arts Alive is inviting artists of all ages and skill levels to submit their interpretations of “Black & White” in their upcoming themed gallery show to be displayed at Tibbits Opera House January through March.
While the gallery theme is “Black & White,” it is up to the artist to interpret exactly what the phrase means to them.
Artists may submit up to three pieces at $5 per submission. Paintings, photographs or drawings should be ready to hang using hanging wire.
Sculpture or other mediums are accepted and encouraged as well. Prizes will be awarded to the top artists based on audience votes. Artists may also sell their work on commission.
To be included in this art show, artists should drop off all pieces at Tibbits’ Administration Office at 93 West Chicago before 5:00 p.m. on Monday, January 23.
“Black & White” will be displayed in the lower level art gallery at the Tibbits Opera House.
The gallery shows rotate approximately every eight weeks. Other 2023 exhibits include “Wild Things,” “Decades,” “Cardboard Creations” and “Miniatures” along with the annual Kids’ Art Rocks! student art contest.
