BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – Aden Hathaway and Kamron Brackett were instrumental in Bronson’s 62-59 comeback win over Bellevue Wednesday afternoon at the Battle Creek Central Fieldhouse during the first day of the Chuck Turner Holiday Classic.
The Broncos enjoyed a 36-29 lead over the Vikings at halftime, but Bronson took the lead with 20 seconds left in the game and held off Bellevue long enough to improve to .500 on the season.
Hathaway led all scorers with 24 points, and Brackett added 22. Bronson will take a 2-2 record to their showdown next Tuesday at Olivet.
Four Bellevue players all but two of the team’s points: Chase Graham had a team-high 19, Caleb Betz added 16, Dawson Wing had 12, and Hayden McClelland finished with 10. The Broncos dropped to 3-1.
