UNDATED (WTVB) – There will be contested school board races in Quincy, Bronson and Union City in the November general election.
The deadline for candidates to file for the November ballot was Tuesday afternoon at the Branch County Clerks Office.
Janet Byler, James Brian Eley and Jennifer Harmon will be vying for a pair of six year terms on the Bronson School Board.
The Quincy School Board election will feature four candidates vying for two seats. The Quincy candidates are Thomas Bean, Elizabeth Gray, Tim Miner and Jennifer Woltz.
There are also four candidates in Union City. Darin LaBar has filed to serve out the remainder of Denny Spooner’s term through 2020 after Spooner passed away in June. The three candidates who are running for a pair of six year terms are Thomas Case, Sam Korn and Jennifer Searls.
The Coldwater School Board election will not be contested as candidates Nick Krzeminski, Ronald Lanford and Steve Rutz are running for the three six year terms that are available this year.
