HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – Michigan State Police troopers made three arrests this weekend in Hillsdale County after they stopped vehicles for traffic violations.
Troopers made a traffic stop in North Adams on a vehicle with a brake light out and for failure to stop. It was later determined that a 53-year-old woman from Jonesville who was a passenger had a warrant for her arrest out of the Madison Township Police Department for receiving and concealing stolen property. She was arrested and lodged at the Hillsdale County Jail.
Meanwhile, Troopers conducted a traffic stop in Camden Township on a vehicle for having no brake lights on the trailer. A 53-year-old woman from Reading who was a passenger was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamines and improperly transporting medical marijuana. She was arrested and lodged at the Hillsdale County Jail.
Troopers also made a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding in Fayette Township. One of the passengers in the vehicle, a 28 year old man from North Adams, was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of the Jackson Police Department for possession of cocaine. He was arrested and released to the custody of Jackson Police.
