COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater City Manager Jeff Budd says for now the Executive Director position for the Branch County Economic Growth Alliance will remain open, following the recent departure of Lisa Miller.
Budd says he is one of three persons who are sharing the duties of the position along with Quinn White and Paul Beckhusen from the Coldwater Board of Public Utilities. Miller is also available on a contract basis.
Miller recently departed as the director of the Growth Alliance to devote more time to her family and to her consulting practice.
Budd says they can be pickier right now since they have a lot of economic development going on which includes the Clemens Food Group project, which is expected to create over 800 new jobs.
