COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Board of Public Utilities Board of Directors approved a four percent pay raise for Director Paul Beckhusen Tuesday following a one hour executive session so that a periodic evaluation could be conducted.
The pay increase brings Beckhusen’s salary for the next year to over $156,000.
The action came after the board earlier in the meeting tabled a director’s employment agreement which has not been updated since 2003 so that they could study it further.
In other business, the board decided to keep John Schroll as president and Dave Rubley as vice president.
They also decided to keep meeting on the Tuesday before the fourth Monday of the month and Scott Ohm was sworn in as a new board member.
Beckhusen also announced the CBPU. will not offer dial up internet service after August 31st. Letters will be sent out to those who still have dial up telling them which providers still offer the service.
