COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Altrusa International of Branch County has presented Altrusa Teen S.H.A.R.E. with a grant that will support a roofing and window project. The grant comes from the Altrusa International Foundation.
Kim Hemker oversees the Altrusa Teen S.H.A.R.E. program and accepted a $2,000 check during Altrusa’s meeting on June 29.
23 foundation grants are awarded to local clubs across 12 districts. The Branch County organization was one of three in the district to get a grant.
The two homes where teens reside have had their roofs replaced. The windows will be replaced by the end of summer.
