COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Board of Directors for the Coldwater B.P.U. approved a contract not to exceed $67,900 on Wednesday night with Donohue and Associates so they can file a Project Planning Document for the utility’s Wastewater Resource Recovery Facility.
Water/WRRF/Telecommunications Superintendent Brian Musselman says with the facility nearing its capacity rating and in need of an expansion, Donohue & Associates on behalf of the Coldwater BPU, recently filed an Intent-to-Apply form to pursue a loan from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund.
Musselman says the next step in the process is to file a Project Planning Document to support this application so that EGLE can evaluate, score and rank projects for their upcoming fiscal year Project Priority List.
Musselman added Donohue & Associates has already completed a review of the Wastewater Resource Recovery Facility.
