COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Coldwater man was arraigned on five counts on Tuesday in Branch County District following a violent domestic dispute.
34-year-old Gregory Lee Prater is accused by authorities of allegedly pushing a woman down and taking a phone away from her when she tried to call 911. He is also accused of refusing to cooperate with police.
Prater was charged with interfering with electronic communications, assaulting or resisting a police officer, possession of non-narcotic controlled substances and domestic violence.
Bond was set at $10,000. A probable cause hearing was scheduled for July 14 and a preliminary exam was set for July 21, 2016.
