COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater High School Girls Gymnastics team will be hosting their 13th annual “Stick It for a Cure” benefit meet on Saturday to raise awareness and funding for cancer patients and survivors in Branch County.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the ProMedica Coldwater Cancer Center.
Just over $12,000 was raised last year which brought the 12 year total to nearly $120,000.
Randi Dudek says the team members are proud to make such a positive impact on the community.
Charlotte Calhoun says the event has grown over the years.
Team members have managed to secure sponsorships and auction items in recent weeks.
Saturday’s meet will offer a wide variety of opportunities to donate. There are over 120 baskets to bid on during the silent auction.
Gymnastics competition is scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m..
