Ruth Ann Cutchall, 79, of Tekonsha, Michigan passed away Monday, February 6, 2023 at Centrica Care Hospice Residence in Battle Creek.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2023 from 12pm-3 at the First Baptist Church of Tekonsha.
Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Tekonsha, Michigan.
Arrangements are being handled by Kempf Funeral Home, Marshall MI.
She was born on January 21, 1944 to Wilbur and Esther (Millard) Keller in Tekonsha, Michigan.
Ruth graduated from Tekonsha High School in 1962. She worked as a machine operator at Eaton Corporation in Marshall for 30 years. She then worked for five years as a lunch aide at Tekonsha Community Schools where the kids loved her.
Ruth was a member of the Tekonsha Baptist Church.
Ruth loved everything about sports. She was an avid softball player and bowler. She enjoyed watching her Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park or on TV, yelling all through the games. She also loved to spend time with family. She attended everything that her children Tammy and Chris were involved in and went to all of her grandson Luke’s and her nieces and nephews activities. She enjoyed putting puzzles together, playing bingo, and going to the casino to play “Wheel of Fortune,” her favorite game.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Melanie) Johnson of Tekonsha, Michigan; her son Christopher (Annalie) Cutchall of Tekonsha, Michigan; her grandson Lucas Johnson of Tekonsha, Michigan; her sister Janet (Larry) Ray of Tekonsha; her sister-in-law Carol Keller of Tekonsha; and several special nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Charles Keller.
Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Tekonsha.
