HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – A Coldwater man was told to serve 30 to 48 months in the Michigan Department of Corrections on Monday in Hillsdale County Circuit Court after he entered a guilty plea as part of a plea bargain agreement with prosecutors to a charge of illegal use of a financial transaction device.
33-year-old Erin Todd Kimble was originally facing 30 charges. All of the other counts including 27 other charges for illegal use of a financial transaction device as well as charges of larceny and uttering and publishing were dismissed in exchange for his guilty plea to the one count.
Kimble was given credit for 47 days already served in jail but he was also ordered to pay nearly $3,600 in restitution to the victims in the case.
