COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater Board of Public Utilities Director Paul Jakubczak recapped how the February 22 ice storm affected operations during the B.P.U. Board of Directors meeting on Thursday.
After going through the day without any CBPU outages, he said things started to go downhill late in the afternoon.
A crew from Bowling Green, Ohio helped get power back on by Thursday night.
CBPU crews provided assistance to hard hit Hillsdale.
Jakubczak offered several suggestions for the future.
The ice storm knocked out power to 6,600 Consumer’s Energy customers in Branch County.
