COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Community Schools Board of Education will begin two nights of interviews on Wednesday as they search for the district’s next Superintendent.
Interviews for the four Superintendent finalists will be conducted in the Lakeland Elementary School cafeteria and the public is invited to attend.
Two interviews will be held on Wednesday night with two more set for Thursday evening.
Dr. Paden Stalter, Director of REAP for Lansing Public Schools, is scheduled to be interviewed Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. followed by Sandusky, Michigan Superintendent Paul Flynn at 7:30 p.m..
Fremont, Indiana Superintendent of Schools Dr. William Stitt is scheduled to be interviewed Thursday at 6:00 p.m. followed by Capac Superintendent Jeff Terpenning at 7:30 p.m..
March 16 has been set aside for final interviews. The process has been facilitated by the Michigan Leadership Institute.
It’s hoped whoever is hired will begin their new duties on July 1, 2023 which will be the day after current Superintendent Terry Ann Whelan retires.
There were 11 applications for the position.
