OLIVET, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater High School boys cross-country team came within four points of winning their first invitational Saturday at the Olivet Pink Invitational.
Breckenridge took home the hardware with 41 points while the Cardinals settled for runner-up with 45 points.
Coldwater’s first five runners…John Aerts, Myron Lafty, Jarron Herlan, Haroon Omar, and Antonio Potter were all top 15 medal winners. Aerts finished third in a time of 17:33.41. Lafty was sixth while Herlan was ninth, Omar was 13th and Potter was 14th.
Coldwater did not field a full girl’s team, although Legend Szafranski still was a medal winner in 6th place with a time of 21:39.53.
