ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – Trine University has announced that Hall of Fame quarterback and current Fox Sports commentator Terry Bradshaw will deliver the address during Commencement on May 6 in the Keith E. Busse/Steel Dynamics Inc. Athletic and Recreation Center.
Bradshaw was the NFL’s number one draft choice in 1970 out of Louisiana Tech and led the Pittsburgh Steelers to four Super Bowl championships.
He was named the Super Bowl MVP twice and was an All-Pro four times.
After his retirement from football in 1984, Bradshaw began a successful career in broadcasting. His work on “Fox NFL Sunday” earned him Sports Emmy Awards in the Outstanding Sports Personality/Analyst category in 1999, 2001 and 2009 and he was named TV Guide’s Favorite Sportscaster in 1999.
Bradshaw has been one of the most sought after personalities for TV talk shows and has appeared in several TV shows and feature films.
If all that is not enough, Bradshaw has authored five books.
