BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The City of Bronson is seeking to fill the position of full-time laborer for the Department of Public Works.
For the past several years, the City has only had three Department of Public Works employees and two wastewater employees.
City Manager Brandon Mersman says there have been more than three employees dedicated to this Department and as many as five about ten years ago.
The city staff proposed adding another full-time position and the request was approved last Monday by the Bronson City Council.
The pay range is $20 to $23 per hour depending on qualifications. Preference will be given to candidates with water or sewer licensing with the State of Michigan.
