COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The annual report for the City of Coldwater’s Neighborhood Services Department was presented during Monday’s City Council meeting.
Deputy Assessor Samantha Albright said the city’s assessment roll generated approximately $24 million in tax revenue for the County’s taxing entities.
She said assessed values have gone up.
The N.S.D. also handles Building Inspection and Code Enforcement.

Albright said there were 844 rental units registered with 14 rental complaints in 2022. The department issued 104 tickets for rental violations and there were over 1,200 ordinance violations.
Over $542,000 in total revenue was collected by Neighborhood Services.
The department is also undergoing a change in leadership as Director Debra Sikorski-Bernath will be retiring as of Thursday.
