COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Capri Drive-In Theater in Branch County finished second in online balloting conducted by USA Today for the Best Drive-In Movie Theater in the country.
It was reported on Friday that the competition was fierce, particularly among the top three finishers, but in the end it was 99W Drive-In of Newberg, Oregon that earned the title.
A panel of experts picked the initial 20 nominees with the top 10 winners were determined by popular vote.
The Capri was the only drive-in that was nominated from the State of Michigan.
