COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater’s girls soccer team opened their season Tuesday night with a 4-1 home loss to Vicksburg.
Vicksburg scored first from 30 yards only to have Coldwater equalize minutes later on a goal by Lily Bockheim. Katie O’Dell assisted on the goal.
Vicksburg scored again to take a 2-1 lead at halftime.
Although Coldwater played a better second half with more shots, two breakaway goals by Vicksburg put the game out of reach.
Vicksburg outshot Coldwater 20-12. Izzy Pool had 11 saves in goal for Coldwater.
