COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Spring hydrant flushing in the City of Coldwater is scheduled to take place during the week of April 17.
Coldwater Board of Public Utilities Director Paul Jakubczak told the B.P.U. Board of Directors on Wednesday that the staff will be working two shifts during the hydrant flushing.
Jakubczak says something new this year will be an interactive hydrant flushing map on the city’s web site.
During hydrant flushing you may notice discoloration of your water.
If this takes place, slowly run cold water out of your faucet until the water becomes clear.
This process will remove sediment from the system that naturally accumulates.
