UNDATED (WTVB) – The results of the latest population studies in Michigan show the biggest loser was Branch County’s Coldwater Township, which lost 19.6 percent of its people from 2010 to 2015.
The numbers were released this week by state demographer Eric Guthrie.
He says Vicksburg in southern Kalamazoo County was the fastest growing municipality in the state with an increase from 2010 to 2015 of 10.9%. Its current population is just over 3,200.
Rockford, Spring Lake, Grand Haven, East Grand Rapids and Kentwood also made the top 10.
Ottawa was the fastest growing County. Both Kent and Kalamazoo Counties made the top five.
