FREMONT, IN (WTVB) – A Michigan company is expanding in Fremont, Indiana.
Inside Indiana Business reports that Cold Heading Company will invest more than $12 million and add up to 30 jobs in Fremont by 2019.
Increased demand from the automotive industry is being listed as the reason for the expansion.
The company makes cold formed fasteners for the automotive, agriculture, marine and industrial industries.
Ground was broken last week for the 148,000 square foot expansion of the Fremont facility.
Cold Heading Company has 175 total employees at its two plants in Steuben County and they have about 800 workers in three states.
