COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) -Mother Nature is pushing it right to the limit. The average date for the last frost of the season in Branch County in May 15, and now the National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory in effect from midnight tonight to 8 a.m Monday.
NWS says with temperatures dropping into the mid 30’s Sunday night into Monday morning, with a few spots dropping into the lower 30′, sensitive outdoor plants may be damaged or killed if left uncovered.
While the Monday night into Tuesday morning overnight temperature could drop to 39 degrees, the rest of the week is expected to be in the mid to upper 40’s overnight with no chance of frost.
