JACKSONVILLE, FL (WTVB) – The Detroit Lions return to action after their bye week with a visit to the Jaguars in Jacksonville Sunday.
Running back Adrian Peterson missed practice yesterday with an illness. Center Frank Ragnow was limited Wednesday and did not take part in drills yesterday due to a groin injury.
Defensive lineman Da’Shawn Hand and defensive tackle Nick Williams were full participants in practice despite injuries.
The Atlanta Falcons are dealing with at least one case of Covid-19, just over a week before the team is scheduled to host the Lions. The club worked remotely yesterday after an assistant coach tested positive for the virus Wednesday.
Earlier this week, Atlanta placed rookie Marlon Davidson on the reserve Covid list.
While additional cases could be false positives, the team is still taking precautions. The Falcons are scheduled to play the Vikings in Minnesota this Sunday.
