BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – Several students from Branch County were honored last week by Kellogg Community College during its annual awards banquet.
They were among 35 students who received 42 awards in recognition of their achievements.
Lauren Rubley of Coldwater won two awards. She was named the Outstanding Dental Hygiene graduate as well as the outstanding part-time career and occupational education graduate.
Jeromy Wyzykowski of Coldwater won an arts and sciences award while Rachel Rowlson of Coldwater was named the Outstanding Office Information Technology graduate.
Edward Hursley of Tekonsha received the Excellence in Art Award from Elizabeth and Guido Binda while Heidi Gartley of Union City was named Outstanding Education Major Graduate.
In order to get an award, students must major or exhibit interest in their award area, earn a 3.5 or higher GPA and show evidence of significant creative growth.
