CONSTANTINE, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy and Bronson track teams competed on Friday at the Constantine Invitational in a final tune up before the regional meets.
The host Falcons won the boys meet with 154 points followed by Kalamazoo Hackett with 135 points. Quincy was third with 56 points while Bronson finished eighth.
Quincy got win from Corey Turner in the pole vault and Ethan Hollister in the long jump. Clayton Benson was second in the 110 hurdles, Ashtyn Morris was fifth in the shot put and third in the discus. Rhett Reif was fifth in the high jump while Kaleb Handy was third in the pole vault.
Quincy’s 400 relay team of Michael Daniels, Bryce Bellamy, Hollister and Corey Turner finished second. The 800 relay team of Cameron Barry, Bellamy, Jonas Beltran and Wesley Wasikowski were fifth.
Bronson’s Boston Bucklin was fourth in the 400, third in the 800 and second in the high jump. Aden Hathaway was fourth in the 1600.
The Vikings 3200 relay team of Hugo Barajas, Kamern Bracket, Hathaway and Bucklin finished third.

Quincy finished second in the girls meet as they were edged by Buchanan by 13 points. The Bucs had 132 points followed by the Orioles with 119 points. Bronson tied for sixth with White Pigeon.
The Orioles got wins from Sophia Snellenberger in the shot put and discus, Brooke McVicker in the pole vault and from Brookelyn Parker in the 100 hurdles.
Parker was also fourth in the 300 hurdles. Anna Richer was fifth in the 100 and fourth in the 200, Elizabeth Craig was fourth in the 400, Sadie Miller was third in the 1600, Libby Butchart was fifth in the 3200, Lorelai Kugler was fifth in the 100 hurdles, Raigan Horsfall was second in the shot put and second in the discus, Coelie Smullen tied for third in the high jump, Lita Fulton was third while Abby Leosh was fourth in the pole vault and Cheyenne Marske was third in the long jump.
Quincy’s 400 relay team of Olivia Davenport, McVicker, Abby Tinervia and Richer finished fourth. The 800 relay team of Richer, Marske, Craig and Tinervia also finished fourth. The 1600 relay team of Craig, Raylee Fulton, Parker and Sadie Miller came in third.
Bronson Jaiden Hayes won the 300 hurdles, second in the 100 and fifth in the long jump. The Vikings 800 relay team of Victoria Loth, Addison Calloway, Laura Vasquez and Hayes finished third.
