BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – 80 student athletes from the conference Coldwater competes in were honored lasty night as Interstate 8 Senior Scholar Athletes for 2016-17. 10 students from each school were selected for the award.
From Coldwater High School, those Scholar Athletes were Brendan Spangler, Adam Clemens, Megan Hoath, Joshua Evers, Nicklaus Galliers, Sean Delaney, Maggie Pool, Ethan Aerts, Amanda Daoud, and Nolan Duda
The criteria for the award was students needed to be a senior, a two sport varsity letter winner, and academically in the top 10 of their class. This is the second year the Interstate 8 Conference has presented this award.
