ALBION, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater girls finished third while the boys were sixth on Tuesday at the Interstate 8 Conference meet hosted by Coldwater which was held at Albion College.
Harper Creek won the girls meet with 116 ½ points followed by Hastings with 93 ½ and Coldwater with 78.
Coldwater’s Elli Foley won the shot put and discus. Lainey Yearling was third in the 1600 and second in the 3200. Madilyn Persails was third in the 100 hurdles.
Jatziri Martinez placed fourth in the 100 and fifth in the 200, Grace Huff was fourth in the 200, and third in the 400. Jaelah Sloan placed fourth in the long jump and fifth in the high jump.
Parma Western won the boys meet with 141 points followed by Harper Creek with 124 and Hastings with 106.
Coldwater’s Hunter Munson was third in the pole vault. Zach Coffing and Jackson Reilly were fourth and fifth in the shot put. The Cardinals got a fourth place finish in the 3200 relay.
