QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – All Quincy Historical Society members and friends in the community are invited to attend the Quincy Historical Society annual meeting and potluck on Thursday, April 21 in the Fellowship Room of the Quincy United Methodist Church. The evening will begin with a social hour and dinner at 6:00 p.m.
The evening will debut the Mel Budd historic Quincy postcard collection slide-show. A short business meeting will follow with election of board members. Guest speakers, Tom Turner, founder of Turner Enterprises and creator of Turn-A-Craft boats, along with Quincy native, Millard “Chesty” Blackman will speak about the history of the company and efforts to preserve these pleasure boats.
Presentations of the annual Preservation Award will complete the evening.
