MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – Police are looking for a man who robbed the PS Food Mart at knifepoint on the east side of Marshall early Tuesday morning.
Marshall Police say the suspect wore a mask during the hold up which happened at about 1:15 a.m.
The robber brandished a knife at the clerk and demanded money from the cash register. He ran off with an unknown amount of money.
The suspect is described as a white male who was five-feet-ten with an average build.
He was said to be wearing a black coat and pants.
A K-9 unit was brought to help with the search. Michigan State Police and the Calhoun County Sherriff’s Department assisted Marshall Police in setting up a perimeter but the suspect got away.
