UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – The dedication of a new scoreboard at Union City’s high school baseball diamond that was scheduled for this Saturday has been postponed due to the recent bad weather conditions.
It will be rescheduled for a later date.
The scoreboard is being was made possible through donations from Southern Michigan Bank and Trust.
Union City baseball coach John Bain says the snow on Friday and Saturday along with the rain on Sunday prevented workers from performing the concrete work to set the sign.
The Union City Rotarian Baseball & Softball Tournaments will still take place this weekend.
