Todd was born January 23, 1978 in Coldwater, Michigan to Henry and Becky (Carr) Hoath. He graduated from Quincy High School in 1996 and owned and operated his own business, Upward Bound Construction.
Todd loved the outdoors, traveling, golfing and bird watching. He also loved church and had met his wife, the former Lucinda “Cindy” Pelfrey, through putting on VBS puppet show programs. They married on November 24, 2007. The couple enjoyed attending South Litchfield Baptist Church together and shared a love of music and singing.
Todd was a member of the Hillsdale Barbershop Society Town & Country Chorus. He liked performing in “Tuba Christmas” performances in Chicago. More than anything, he cherished his family.
Left to cherish Todd’s memory are his parents; Henry and Becky Hoath of Coldwater; his siblings, Heather (John) Herbert of Bronson and Annette (Gregory) Frank of Quincy; brother-in-law, Jeremy Hatkow; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, aunts and uncles, and several loving friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy, in January 2022; his sister Robin Lynn Hatkow, who passed away in November of 2013; and both sets of grandparents.
Memorial donations are suggested to the family to assist with final expenses.
