BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The MHSAA Division Two baseball district at Lowe Field will be decided Monday afternoon at 5:00 p.m..
The host Coldwater Cardinals will face the Marshall Red Hawks after Saturday’s title game was postponed due to thunderstorms in the area.
The Cardinals advanced to the finals with a 4-2 semifinal victory over Harper Creek which improves their record to 18-21.
Marshall had to go 10 innings to defeat Parma Western 5-4 in the second semifinal.
It was a tough day for the other Branch County teams on Saturday as Bronson, Union City and Quincy were all eliminated in district play.
Bronson lost to Constantine 5-0 while Union City was beaten 2-1 in eight innings by Centreville in the Division Three district at Schoolcraft.
Quincy lost to Homer 7-0 in the Division Three district at Hanover-Horton.
