BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – It was “no sale” on Thursday for the property that used to be the site of the Bronson Golf Club on Brink Road in Bronson Township.
A foreclosure sale was scheduled to be held at the Branch County Courthouse but no one showed up. The opening bid was going to be $422,000.
A recent published notice says the Bronson Golf Club LLC defaulted on a $629,725.20 loan from Century Bank and Trust.
The notice says the property in Bronson Township was to be sold during the foreclosure sale to the highest bidder to pay the amount due on the mortgage, together with interest at 4.25%, legal costs, attorney fees, taxes, and insurance.
The LLC that owns the land now has six months to pay the balance owed to the bank.
