THREE RIVERS, MI (WTVB) – A bomb threat made against seventh and eighth-graders prompted enhanced police patrols around Three Rivers High School on Wednesday.
The message, which featured video of a clown threatening to attack the school, circulated through the Kik smartphone app over the weekend, but was not deemed credible by officials who determined it was a joke.
Several parents still opted to pull their children as a precaution. Police investigating the incident have apparently identified the students involved who may face criminal charges and possible expulsion.
