COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A second suspect has been arrested in the case of a Coldwater Police officer almost getting run over last week.
26-year-old Corey Michael McCauley of Coldwater was booked at the Branch County Jail on Tuesday on charges of Resisting a Police Officer and Third Degree Retail Fraud as well as on a warrant for Failure to Appear.
Coldwater Police say McCauley and 21-year-old John Wilson O’Donnell-Miller of Webberville were in a vehicle last Thursday during the alleged incident which followed a shoplifting investigation at the Meijer store on the east side of Coldwater.
O’Donnell-Miller was earlier booked on three charges including Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Assaulting and Resisting a Police Officer.
