BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Board of Education approved roof repairs to the Junior/Senior High School building which will be paid for by the district’s sinking fund that voters approved in 2014. The low bid of $244,720 for the main building, plus $24,000 for the newer science wing, will provide for a new membrane, with a 20-year waterproof warranty, that will be installed over the existing roof. It would be less than half the projected cost for a total tear-off and roof replacement. The proposal was approved at its meeting Monday night.
