BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – There has been another gas station armed robbery in the area, and this time the Marathon Gas Station in Bronson was hit. Bronson Deputy Police Chief Brad McConn tells us the robbery happened at 10:24 p.m. Thursday at the gas station on West Chicago Street.
McConn says a man walked into the gas station, displayed a handgun, and demanded cash from the register. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The man is described as a white male, 5’8″, wearing a dark colored hooded jacket and black ski mask. It’s believed the man ran a short distance to a waiting vehicle and fled the area.
Bronson City Police were assisted at the scene by the Michigan State Police.
