COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – It will be another summer of construction for the Coldwater Community Schools. The district is currently accepting bids for its 2016 renovation program. Projects include mechanical and electrical upgrades at Legg Middle School, window replacement and office renovation at Coldwater High School, site improvements to Max Larsen Elementary and Jefferson Elementary, and renovations and expansions at Jefferson Elementary.
In addition, the school district will be completing renovations at the football stadium. That includes the construction of a new press box. That will cause the high school graduation ceremonies in June to be moved into the Coldwater High School gymnasium. Track meets are also being moved to away sites. Girls soccer should still be able to use the new turf field while the press box and stadium upgrade work is being done.
Bid packets are now available, and a prebid meeting will be held Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Coldwater High School. Sealed bids must be received by Wednesday, March 16 at 2:00 p.m. at the superintendent’s office.
